PeriChild Ensemble

PeriChild Ensemble is an outreach children’s dance company founded in 2000 as a natural extension of the school and as a preparatory arena for the professional company, Peridance Ensemble. Members of PeriChild Ensemble are chosen by audition from NYC public and private schools. In addition to the extensive, well-rounded curriculum of dance classes, the dancers have the unique opportunity to learn choreography from established choreographers and perform in different venues around the city. The Ensemble develops relationships with hundreds of children from various organizations by extending their knowledge and love for dance through these performances and through conducting Interactive Workshops.
